В Украине создали единую карту для всех выплат от государства

The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, together with banks, has created a single card that will allow citizens to receive all state payments. This was announced on December 16 by the head of the department, Vice Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science and Technology Development Mikhail Fedorov on Telegram.

The new card, called “Single Social Payment Card”, aims to simplify and streamline the process of receiving government payments for citizens. It will be issued by the state-owned bank “Oschadbank” and will be linked to the Unified State Register of Social Payments. This means that all social benefits, such as pensions, subsidies, and child allowances, will be automatically transferred to the card without the need for citizens to visit different banks or government agencies.

The creation of this card is a significant step towards the digitalization of Ukraine and the improvement of the country’s social welfare system. It will not only save citizens time and effort but also reduce the risk of corruption and fraud. With the new card, all payments will be transparent and traceable, ensuring that they reach the intended recipients.

The idea of a single card for state payments was first proposed by the Ministry of Digital Transformation in October 2020. The project was developed in collaboration with the National Bank of Ukraine, the Ministry of Finance, and other government agencies. The implementation of the project was accelerated due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which highlighted the need for a more efficient and secure way of distributing social benefits.

The Single Social Payment Card will be available to all citizens of Ukraine, regardless of their place of residence or bank affiliation. It will also be possible to use the card for non-state payments, such as utility bills and public transport fares. This will further simplify the daily lives of citizens and reduce the need for cash transactions.

The introduction of the Single Social Payment Card is just one of the many initiatives of the Ministry of Digital Transformation aimed at modernizing and improving the quality of life in Ukraine. The ministry has been actively working on various projects, such as the development of a digital ID system, the implementation of e-governance, and the promotion of digital literacy among citizens.

The creation of the Single Social Payment Card has received positive feedback from citizens and experts alike. Many see it as a significant step towards a more transparent and efficient government. It is also expected to have a positive impact on the country’s economy, as it will reduce the circulation of cash and promote the use of electronic payments.

In conclusion, the Ministry of Digital Transformation, together with banks, has taken a significant step towards the digitalization of Ukraine and the improvement of the country’s social welfare system. The Single Social Payment Card will simplify the process of receiving government payments for citizens and promote transparency and efficiency. It is a positive development that will benefit both citizens and the country as a whole.
